To report unsolicited stock tip SMS messages, you should notify both the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and the relevant stock exchanges.

To report to TRAI, send an SMS to 1909 in the following format:

• Message content,
• Phone number from which the SMS/call was received,
• Date when the SMS/call was received.

Example:
Message: Unsolicited SMS regarding investments in a random business,
Phone number: xxxxxxxxxx,
Date: dd/mm/yyyy.
