If a client logs in from a new city or IP address, Upmove will send an email and a mobile notification via the Kite app. This alert is designed to notify the client of potential account security issues. The location is determined based on the IP address used for the login attempt. As a result, clients may receive this alert when switching between broadband and mobile networks, which have different IP addresses.
Since the location is identified through the client’s IP address, it may not always reflect their actual physical location, even during a legitimate login. In such cases, the client should click the button below to verify the IP address on Google and compare it with the one shown in the email alert. If the two match, the email can be disregarded.
